"Business As Usual After Merger," Apologists Say
Danny Shelton's apologists were quick to deny that the proposed merger of 3ABN and Amazing Facts
means any real change of anything: Amazing Facts is not taking over 3ABN, Danny Shelton is not resigning,
and he will continue to be in charge of day-to-day operations.
In light of the fact that one apologist makes the claim that the organization resulting from the merger
will likely be called 3ABN, one wonders if the reality is that 3ABN is buying out Amazing Facts rather than
vice versa.
And the claims of one apologist that Doug Batchelor "knows" that the allegations against alleged adulterer
Danny Shelton and alleged pedophile Tommy Shelton are false is also of interest, as well as another apologist's
contention that one of the results of the merger will be to show widespread support of Danny Shelton.
We must ask, what is the point and purpose of a merger if nothing really changes except possibly
there being a single board instead of two boards, the members of which may not be getting paid anyway?
What tangible benefits will either Amazing Facts or 3ABN glean from such a merger that they either don't or
can't already have without a merger?

Yes, we have verifiable information. Danny Shelton will not
be resigning and continue his administrative duties as usual.
Doug Batchelor will be president/director of the merger but will
not be involved in day to day operations.

Doug Batchelor "Knows the Allegations Are Not True"
Avid apologist "tomatoe" claims that Doug Batchelor is privy to the top secret, confidential
information and evidence that totally exonerates alleged adulterer Danny Shelton and alleged pedophile
Tommy Shelton. By making this claim, Danny's side implicates Elder Batchelor in the ongoing scandal and cover up.
We personally believe at this point that such an implication is wrong on tomatoe's part.
We do not believe that Doug Batchelor is privy to such top secret and probably non-existent information
and evidence which has not yet been brought forward, even though
Linda requested that the evidence against her
be brought forward way back on February 14, 2007.
And we do not have any indication that Elder Batchelor is knowingly involved in any sort of cover up.
But tomatoe's assertion does necessitate a prompt investigation of these matters by Amazing Facts and
Doug Batchelor, and some sort of public statement concerning that investigation.

Of course he will have his position and will go on spearheading
his team just the way DS will go on spearheading his. Who knows,
by the time all of the details are ironed out, titles may change
again. This is not something that either ministry has jumped
into lightly or quickly. The details are mind boggling and will
take plenty of time but, when the ink is dry Mollie will still
continue her job as GM, DS was still continue his as leader of
3abn and Doug will continue his vision with Amazing Facts. All
will work together to make the impossible, possible.

This endeavor will not be a "unified but separate" situation.
The two ministries will join together as one being jointly identified
by both names as long as necessary, but eventually will likely
be known as 3ABN. 3ABN has much greater world wide recognition
and this makes the most sense.
Organizational structure will undergo some tweaking with both
Doug and Danny being intricately involved in the new ministry.
The only other area of organizational change will be a melding
of the two boards, the particulars to be decided in the future.

The new entity is expected to gain the full support of the
organized church and associations such as ASI indicating that
there is widespread support of Doug,
Danny, and both ministries.
