The version of the 2008 Form 990 3ABN filed with the IRS is not the same as the one 3ABN filed with the states of Illinois and Oregon, or gave to the public. All three versions are accessible below.

3ABN's Charitable Organization Annual Reports in Illinois

These Form AG990-IL's are short, two-page summaries of the finances of 3ABN, filed annually with the Illinois Attorney General.

The 2003 report has an additional two pages attached, the first of which admits, "The organization purchased inventory from a business owned by two Board Members. Purchases from this business totaled $73,113 for the year ended December 31, 2003." This statement explains the answer to number 3 which was checked "Yes."

The 2004 and 2005 reports were also checked "Yes" for number 3, but the attached explanatory statement was not available from the Illinois Attorney General's website.

3ABN's Financial Statements and Auditor's Report

These reports, filed with the Illinois Attorney General, identify the amounts spent each year on the jet(s). Also, Note 14 identifies the value of product being purchased by 3ABN from Danny's publishing companies in 2003 and 2004, and the value of books "authored by a member of management" from an unspecified publisher in 2005.

The following are the not-for-profit corporation application and reports that 3ABN filed with the state of Florida. Since 3ABN failed to file its 2009 annual report, it now has a status of "Inactive," "Revoked for Annual Report." as of September 25, 2009.

Remnant Publications' Form 990's and Financial Statements

Also of interest are the Form 990's filed by Remnant Publications, the non-profit corporation that published Danny Shelton and Shelley Quinn's book, The Ten Commandments Twice Removed. An analysis of these 990's will give an idea of how much royalty Danny earned on the 4.3 million copies that Remnant printed.

The Fjarli Foundation's Form 990's

We will add here the Form 990's that are available for the Fjarli Foundation, a charitable, private foundation of which 3ABN Board member Merlin Fjarli is the president. While Danny claimed in his July 2006 financial affidavit that Merlin Fjarli was the one who gave him a $200,000 loan in 2004, it was actually the Fjarli Foundation. These 990's allow one to track the life of the loan as well as give an idea of the interest that was paid.
