Hello,
Good job of holding Danny accountable. I am waiting for the
evidence Linda requested. As a judge once told me it is not
necessarily what you hear in a court of law it is what you do
not hear. If it was me and I had evidence I would present it
if was 100% true. Doug Batchelor's secretary is his mother-in-law,
Karen's mother. I cannot understand Amazing Facts agreeing
to join 3abn under the present circumstances and leaving Danny
in charge. Perhaps he would be forced to resign if he was charged
criminally. Thanks

Here is my email to AF.
I am very sorry to see that Doug Batchelor is involving himself with
3ABN. I felt he was stretching the limits to broadcast on that station
but felt that the Lord could use "any" means for evangelism.
I feel that as long as Danny is in any way involved with 3ABN that the
Lord cannot use that network. Danny is sinning with his marriage and
also with the way he handled his marriage to Linda. I do not listen to
or support 3ABN.
I have the satellite and listen to LLBN and HopeTV.
I cannot support AF. Unless Doug Batchelor makes a statement in regards
to Danny's sins and the need to "CLEAN UP" 3ABN for the Lord's glory
then I now fear for the future of AF. Just because the GC and ASI are
behind this does not make it right!

I get the feeling that Doug and Danny don't seem to think that
they have to answer to anyone. They say they are self supporting
and independent. Well folk I suggest we give them their wish.
Stop the money flow and let them be independent and Self Supporting
and see if our opinions mean any thing to them. I get the feeling
that we are not to question what they are doing just send the
money. We have other programs that seem to be run by God fearing
men--VOP and It is Written along with Hope Channel and until
they prove to me a difference that's where my money will go.

Something just doesn't ring true.
My 81-year-old mother was so upset that she called me, upset
nearly to tears, before the first hour was over. She feels like
two ministries are now in danger of being destroyed instead of
just one.
Where miracle stories, dreams and amazing coincidences would
have, before now, given us both goose bumps and hearts filled
with joy, in the face of the obvious denial rampant in that room
tonight it brought nothing but disappointment.
Near the end of the program, Doug Batchelor said that "they'll
know us by our love for each other." Look out of the 3abn doors,
Brother Doug, at the people of Thompsonville. Go and ask Duane
and Roger Clem and the other alleged victims of pastoral abuse
who have experienced the feelings flowing from the co-founder
of 3abn towards them. Ask them about the love they see flowing
from the leadership of 3abn. Is Christ being lifted up to those
alleged victims and their loved ones? Or, has it made better
business sense to allow those alleged victims to remain as necessary
sacrifices to protect the image of the President and his family?
If this is the case, there is a real danger of one day hearing
those devastating words from the lips of our Redeemer found in
Matthew 7:22-23:
22 Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we
not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons
and perform many miracles?' 23 Then I will tell them plainly,
'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

The situation of Danny "dumping" Linda has been my deep concern,
because at the time it seemed completely out of character for
the reason of 3ABN'S existence. Linda had made remarks several
times about looking forward to their 20th anniversary, and to
have Danny dump her the way he did, ouch! I have spent a lot
of time the last several days reading the information that appears
on your web page and I wholeheartedly agree with the observations
of the many who have written in.
Now, we all know that a problem exists, my question is: WHAT
are we going to do about it? The web page is good, but all the
comments in the world are not going to change anything. I am
not sure that holding back contributions is going to solve anything.
(I did that for a time, but gave in after Danny did not immediately
bring his new wife on the scene.) I also strongly believe
that merging Amazing Facts with 3ABN will solve nothing, and
more than that, it scares me that the merger could bring Amazing
Facts down, which is what the "enemy" more than likely is hoping
will happen.
My desire for the whole situation is that as a body, Adventist
believers everywhere, will acknowledge that there is a problem,
and we all recognize that our Heavenly Father owns not only each
one of us, but that He owns 3ABN and Amazing Facts, and all the
other media that is available. The one thing that could be the
worst thing that we could ever do, is to try to take "short cuts"
to "hurry" God's plan along, but we can pray for the situation
and we should set up an appointed daily time, and that wherever
we are at that time, we all take a few moments and talk with
our Heavenly Father about the problem and then leave the problem
with Him. This is what I would like to see.

To me it appears that the merger of Amazing Facts and 3ABN
is just another one of Danny Shelton's tricks to survive the problems
he has been having. Those set of emails from concerned listeners
seems to open the door to another smoke screen for 3ABN.
Danny's survival is questionable unless he sees his own doings
and makes an about face. Why Doug Batchelor stooped to Danny's
pleadings is beyond me, I would think he would have more foresight
than giving in as he did.
